Bespoke commission your own Lightshade

Paper lampshades handmade from reclaimed vintage papers and recycled maps* with delicate hand and machine stitch. These are fully lined, meaning they are just as beautiful to look up or down into, and especially magical when lit.

If you'd like a bespoke shade please select the size and fitting type from the menu and get in touch (see below) to discuss what you would like from the examples pictured. There are 6 panels on a small and medium shade, so you could have 6 different papers choices, and 8 panels on a large or extra large shade, so 8 different types of paper.
You could request a specific theme or dominant colour, request sheet music, pages from books with a certain title, theme or illustrations, dressmaking patterns, smocked pages, wallpaper, postcards, button loops, colourful hand stitched edges or a specific location to be highlighted by stitch on vintage maps (examples pictured). I can source these or you can send me your own special papers.

Small: 20 x 20cm, medium: 30 x 30cm, large: 40 x 40cm and extra large: 55 x 55cm.

These can be used for a lamp or ceiling light fitting - just select the fitting from the drop down menu when choosing your shade. I recommend not using higher than a 20 watt bulb (energy saving are only 11W).
