Paper Microscope

A decorative Paper Microscope created from vintage botanical illustrations and Biology textbooks, with the paper being the inspiration for the piece, as well as the media it is made from. The work is created by manipulating and stitching the found paper to create the form. This is one of the few pieces I make that includes moving parts.

These are handmade one-offs, so what you order will be similar to those pictured, but never identical; therefore always unique.

The Microscope measures 30cm x 15cm x 8cm approx.
